Sok Xing & Hwang Managing Director Appointed as Member of Private Sector Working Groups of G-SPF
Mr. Sok Lor, Managing Director of Sok Xing & Hwang, has been appointed as member of two private sector working groups of the Government-Private Sector Forum through the Decision of the Royal Government of Cambodia No. 130 SSR, dated 12 October 2023. These two working groups are (i) Private Sector Working Group on Law, Tax, and Governance and (ii) Private Sector Working Group on Industrial Relations. In these roles, he participates in and counsels on identification of business and investment, as well as industrial relations issues, shares his professional advice, and recommends solutions aimed at improving the business environment and enhancing trust between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the private sector.
The Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF) was established in 1999 at the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) to provide a platform for consultation between the Government and the Private Sector on investment climate issues ranging from long term policy to day-to-day operations. The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) acts as the secretariat of the G-PSF. CDC facilitates dialogue within and among the joint Government/Private Sector Working Groups, and broadly between the Government and the business community.
