Mr. Sok Lor to Spearhead Cambodian Bar Association’s International Affairs
Through its Decision No. 002/SSKM/17 dated 04 January 2017, the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia (BAKC) appoints Mr. Sok Lor to take charge of its external relations portfolios as its Director for Public Affairs and International Cooperation.
While BAKC has attained numerous achievements over the past years, the BAKC continues to require international cooperation and assistance if it is to further enhance and deepen its contribution to legal and judicial reform as well as social and economic development in Cambodia. In that role, Mr. Sok Lor, Managing Director of Sok Xing & Hwang, expects to help to advance BACK’s vision and strategy, institutional reputation, resource mobilization, and continued legal education programs. This in turns would help strengthen BAKC’s capacity and resources in, inter alia, delivering legal aid services to the segment of Cambodian population who otherwise cannot afford legal services.
