Sok Xing & Hwang Delivers Systems Mapping Report on Cambodia’s OSH Legal Framework
Mr. Hans S. Hwang, Senior Director of Sok Xing & Hwang, delivered a presentation to its client of the firm’s research report on the legal framework and systems mapping of occupational safety and health in Cambodia.
The report provides a mapping analysis of the OSH regulatory framework and landscape, identifying principal polices, legislation, institutions and initiatives relevant to OSH in Cambodia. The report also reviews international safety and health standards, presents a comparative analysis of primary OSH legislation among ASEAN members, and reviews contemporary issues in OSH regarding mental health, gender-based violence and harassment, and climate change.
At the presentation, Mr. Hwang highlighted key elements of modern OSH systems, and facilitated a discussion in anticipation of Cambodia’s planned national OSH law and national OSH policy.
