Negotiation on Textile Minimum Wage 2018 Set to Start in July 2017
Sok Xing & Hwang Managing Director Mr. Sok Lor, in his capacity as Secretary General of the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations, represented the private sector employers to participate in the Minimum Wage Policy Workshop. Organized on 19 June 2017 at Himawari Hotel, the Minimum Wage Policy Workshop was presided over by H.E. Dr. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, who then presented a detailed plan for the tripartite negotiation on the level of 2018 minimum wage to be applied to the textile, garment and footwear sectors.
